Issues: Education

In order for all this learning to be possible, our children need two more partners. One of those partners is our legislators. Our legislator should stand shoulder to shoulder with parents and teachers to find the best, most effective ways to educate current and future generation's education. Unfortunately, if any one of these partners fails at their task it can make it difficult for the other two to do their part. If parents don't take the time to teach their children how to behave in class, teachers cannot effectively teach a class. If teachers are unable to adapt their lesson so that students can understand, their students will give up and stop learning. If our legislators continue to borrow money from education with absolutely no intention of returning it, schools will not be able to provide textbooks and supplies needed to do their jobs.

If these three groups continue to point the finger of blame at one another, future generations will continue to suffer. All these groups must learn to work TOGETHER to find new, innovative ways to provide the best education in the world. If we can do that, future generations will be able to live a successful and prosperous future. If we don't, we are sure to join other third world countries in poverty and misery. The choice is most definitely in our hands.
